Walmart is the place where millions of American consumers shop when they want to save money. As the largest retailer in the country by a wide margin, Walmart has the volume and scale to offer consistently low prices on just about everything we need. But how well does this retail behemoth do when it comes to credit cards?
Consumers can choose between two Walmart-branded cards; a Walmart Mastercard® that can be used anywhere that accepts the Mastercard logo, and a Walmart Credit Card that can only be used at Walmart stores, Sam’s Club stores, online at Walmart.com, and at Murphy USA gas stations. Each card has different approval criteria, and one will accept applicants with less-than-perfect credit scores.
